Long before I had the words to explain my beliefs I had always felt that Nature was enough. Nature, for me, was the object of my moral impulse and religious feelings. When I discovered that I was in fact a Pantheist in every fundamental sense, it brought a feeling of peace, an affirmation of my identity and framework for meaningful pursuits. My Pantheism is scientific rather than traditional. Philosophically, it my conviction that any effort toward personal growth as an individual or positive evolution as a society is only justified by the responsibility and need to have as clear, healthy, and fruitful a relationship as we can with reality as it is.
