In the beginning there was dark matter. It is energy in it's original state and it emits a base form of conciousness. The nature of this consciousness is unknown. Prior to the big bang dark matter came together to form dark stars. This is what scientists might call a black hole. This occurred for an undetermined number of millenia. At some point something happened to cause many of these dark stars to explode in a chain reaction represented by the gamma rays bursts that pepper the night sky at the furthest reaches of the universe. Some of the dark matter shattered and formed much of the matter we see today. However some of the dark matter was stretched or unwound to form what we know as DNA. Therefore DNA has the ability to contain dark matter. The ability of DNA to "hold" dark matter is what gives rise to all life.
