Why We Incorporated as a Church
by Harold Wood
Pantheist discussion boards on the Internet these days are rife with debates about whether Pantheism can be considered a “religion” or just a “philosophy,” with vigorous arguments by both proponents and opponents.
Observing these debates, I often find that opponents to the idea that Panthei…[Read more] -

I made this video to raise the question of how we approach the idea of divinity. Alan Watts makes an interesting statement on “god.” As Scientific Pantheists, we tend to approach this idea metaphorically. What is your approach to “everything is divine?”

Sam, I can see nothing scientific in the video and philosophy you described.
It is an example of non-scientific pantheism. Here\’s more about it from the website: -

Here is an ancient world-wide scientific approach to creation that is directly supported by Pantheism for those who don’t know about the ‘Flower of Life’.
Linked is a short 11 minute YouTube video explaining the basics of how Everything is connected by means of a scientific system through unified consciousness (even the invention of silly old…[Read more]

Agnostic means anything from “I am pretty sure there is no creator God but I cannot 100% prove that” (and in that sense Dawkins calls himself an agnostic).
To “I am going to live as if there is a creator God but I am not 100% sure there is one.”
Calling oneself an agnostic pantheist would mean that you are (say) 99% pantheist but not…[Read more] -

This is from a book that I am writing…
I do not understand this assertion that evolution is dumb. I am consumed with the belief that it is exactly intelligent. Evolution inexplicably and incessantly expresses knowledge of the viable possibilities in nature through form and function in a seemingly predictive capacity as no selective breeding…[Read more]

God is a very accurate word for what the Universe is and it\’s time we pantheists used it more. Yes it carries with it connotation of a theistic God but that shouldn\’t be a reason to avoid \”God\”. We should take the word back!

You can’t be agnostic and pantheist anymore than you can be agnostic and christian or agnostic and muslim. I am a pantheist and i believe that there are NO supernatural beings or higher power above, behind, or below the universe. The universe already is that higher power and that’s what pantheists believe by definition. You can’t be a…[Read more]

Is anyone interested in discussing how scientific pantheism and atheism are polar opposites! And that we should stop presenting them as compatible.
