Those are escape marks, which the interpreter should be using internally to distinguish between quote marks in a string and quote marks as part of code–except obviously, it’s not working right. This is definitely a curious bug.

I have just tested this on an iPad, iPhone and Desktop. Can’t replicate it yet. It may have been corrected in an update.

Hmmm…sorry, Chad, that is a bug. I assume you saw “Charles Beebe of Midland, Michigan” when you clicked “See Local” in the Social feed, right? I think some of the older posts on here (when I was building the site) had an error that caused it to repeat whatever city YOU put in, showing it for other people’s locations. This worked from an iPhone, although it had a delay in displaying the link…I added it without the preview showing up. It displayed properly after posting.
