I like to avoid calling it literal or metaphorical, because I think when we’re talking about transcendental ideas we’re being as literal as we can be with the limits of immanent language. Agnostic Pantheism December 20, 2017 @ 5:36 pmAgnostic means anything from “I am pretty sure there is no creator God but I cannot 100% prove that” (and in that sense Dawkins calls himself an agnostic).

The ’God’ Word October 26, 2017 @ 2:59 pmGod is a very accurate word for what the Universe is and it\’s time we pantheists used it more. Yes it carries with it connotation of a theistic God but that shouldn\’t be a reason to avoid \”God\”. We should take the word back!

Atheism (in current usage) = disbelief in a creator God or other type of supernatural god.
Scientific pantheism does not believe in those things. Ergo it is compatible with atheism – ie you can be an atheist and also a scientific pantheist.
