Star Gazing May 18, 2020 @ 2:16 pmAs Venus leaves our evening sky you can see it’s phases even with a very modest optical aid I used my 5×10 Zeiss miniquick monocular a few nights back although some claim to have seen the phases of Venus with the naked eye.

Alan Watts makes an interesting statement on “god.” As Scientific Pantheists, we tend to approach this idea metaphorically. What is your approach to “everything is divine?”

I like to avoid calling it literal or metaphorical, because I think when we’re talking about transcendental ideas we’re being as literal as we can be with the limits of immanent language.
