Well, at least I can replicate one weird behavior: if you place a space before your word, but not after and enclose it in quotes, it treats it as a ditto mark.

Hi @jon_hoskins, can you please tell me what platform you were using to create the original post, above (beginning with “Created the sub group”)? Were you on a mobile device? I’m trying to pinpoint when the quote marks are posting with an “escape” (a \ slash) in front of it. It didn’t happen in your later post, and it’s not all Windows OSes.

This worked from an iPhone, although it had a delay in displaying the link…I added it without the preview showing up. It displayed properly after posting.

It might be how newer code is impacting old posts. Thanks very much for letting us know!

Those are escape marks, which the interpreter should be using internally to distinguish between quote marks in a string and quote marks as part of code–except obviously, it’s not working right. This is definitely a curious bug.

I have just tested this on an iPad, iPhone and Desktop. Can’t replicate it yet. It may have been corrected in an update.
